The AC³ consortium proudly announces its successful participation in NFV-SDN 2025, held in November 2025 in Athens, Greece. During Special Session 3: Agile and Cognitive Cloud-Edge Continuum Management, the AC³ team showcased the demo “Scalable and Distributed Processing of 3D Astronomical Data Cubes for Galaxy Evolution Studies Using the AC³ Framework.”

Presented by Mario Chamorro-Cazorla and Cristina Catalán-Torrecilla (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain) and Ray Carroll, Ben Capper, and Ryan Jenkins (Red Hat, Ireland), the demo demonstrated AC³’s powerful capability to process large-scale astronomical datasets efficiently across the cloud-edge continuum.

The presentation received the Best Demo Award, recognizing the innovation, scientific value, and technological impact of the AC³ framework. This achievement highlights the strong collaboration between academia and industry within the consortium and reinforces AC³’s role in advancing next-generation distributed computing solutions.
